Pasig City together with the cities in Metro Manila, Laguna, Cavite, Rizal and Bulacan are back to MECQ starting August 4 to 18.

Here are the MECQ guidelines as per Pasig City Administrator:


1. STAY HOME - Strict home quarantine will be implemented. There are only three exceptions: (a) Essential Travel; (b) emergency cases/medical reasons; and (c) APORs.

a. Essential Travel - Only one (1) individual/representative per household may go out their homes to buy food, medicine, and/or travel to banks and other financial institutions. Bring ID with address at all times.

b. Emergency Situations/Medical Reasons - Self explanatory.

c. APORs - Authorized Persons Outside Residence or those who are working in businesses/activities allowed to operate in MECQ.

2. CURFEW - Curfew in Pasig City still at 10pm to 5am. We will keep you posted for changes.

3. CHECK POINTS - Entry points of the City shall be closely monitored.

4. QUARANTINE PASS - As of now, no Quarantine Passes or Permit to Leave Premises (PLP) will be issued. Problems will arise since many have reported their PLPs to be lost. It will take a long time to distribute it once again to all households.

5. DINING IN NOT ALLOWED - Restaurants may operate in 50% workforce capacity, provided that they will only be open for delivery and take out.



6. PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION - Mass public transportations are not allowed, except for P2P Buses, shuttle services, and tricycles.

7. MASS GATHERINGS - No mass gatherings allowed.

8. TRAVEL AUTHORITY FOR LSI - Issuances of Travel Authorities for Locally Stranded Individuals are suspended. Domestic flights and inter-island modes of transport are not allowed.

9. CITY HALL - The City Hall will operate at a 30% work capacity.

Pasig City has surpassed 2,000 counts of confirmed COVID-19 cases the same day MECQ started to take effecf.
